Sebastian Vizcaino is from Spain, he explored the California coastline. He went on this mission of exploration to make maps of the California Coast. The expedition turned out to be good, he gave the name to many California places but only discovered Monterey Bay. Sebastian reported that the bay was a safe harbored but this was not true. Most of his crew died from lack of vitamin C.
