The main events of the story are. There is a lovely dog named Petey she wanted a boy for Christmas to play with. And decided to be a good dog. They think she cant find any boys but they did find a boy on a bike but he had a dog. She went to homes for boys and they got the dog.

I liked this book because it was entersting and it is a good book for bays and girls. This is a very good book.
